Sunrise Corrosion follows up with inspections, typically performed during the most critical stages of the installation, photographing and documenting the work to ensure that standards and acceptance criteria are being met and that the system is being installed per the technical specifications.

Sunrise Corrosion also provides 24/7 phone support throughout the entire installation process.

For a minimal additional cost, Sunrise Corrosion provides a maintenance program that includes an annual inspection to ensure that the area treated is corrosion free and the impressed current cathodic protection (CP) system is effective. Annual monitoring is both a standard NACE recommendation and critical to the long-term success of any CP system. A Remote Monitoring Unit can also be installed, enabling our technicians to assess performance remotely and report any potential concerns as they arise.

The value of inspection:

Analogous to your car, your finances, and your health, an annual “check up” of the CP system ensures that everything is either in good order or enables problems to be addressed before they worsen.

Inspections are performed in accordance with NACE Standards and a detailed report is provided explaining how your system works and what, if any, maintenance is required to ensure that corrosion is being halted.

The annual inspection is also a global summary of your structure. Sunrise Corrosion provides this service in order to identify any other issues that may impact the CP system, your structure and your investment. This valuable information helps you and the board of directors stay on top of any potential problem areas related to the CP installation.
