materials supply

The following brief descriptions outline the main components supplied for installation:

→ Transformer Rectifier (Solar Power Supply ~ Coming soon!)
Electrical devices used to convert AC input to controlled DC output. Controlled DC power is required for cathodic protection (CP).

→ Impressed Current Platinum Anodes-Electrodes
Electrodes used to distribute current to the Dac-Anode™.

→ DAC-Anode™ conductive coating
Electrical coating used on concrete surfaces to ensure even current distribution to the embedded rebar.

→ Reference Electrodes
Electrical devices used to measure the corrosion activity of rebar.

→ Junction Boxes
Housings for electrical connections/distribution. Water tight and UV rated where required for outdoor use.

→ Specialty Cables and Wiring
Cables used for the CP system. Color coding, sizes and insulation specifications are critical to CP system efficacy, functionality and long-term reliability.

→ Remote Monitoring System
Computer hardware which allows interrogation of CP system operating parameters remotely.
