System Commissioning

Once the contractor has completed installation of the cathodic protection system (CP) components, i.e.: anodes, junction boxes, reference electrodes, wiring and labeling etc., the entire system is visually inspected, tested and
calibrated by NACE certified personnel. NACE maintains strict guidelines on CP installation best practices to which Sunrise Corrosion adheres. Once these tests are performed,
the rectifier settings are determined and the system is set to an optimal current output level. Prior to start-up, a system overview is explained to a condominium representative and then the system is energized.

A 6-month follow up inspection is conducted to determine whether or not any adjustments are required and then a brief report is submitted to the board confirming proper operation of the system. To ensure ongoing and optimal
protection thereafter, annual inspections can and should be scheduled to monitor the DAC-Anode™ CP system performance.
